Although the planting design is often compared with some visual arts such as sculpture, painting and etc., many people are inclined toward the opinion that this art is the most dynamic artistic form since the results of this artwork is a three dimensional product which could be perceived from different angles. The dynamics of material in this art leads to the creation of the dynamic environment. Many factors affect the dynamics and enhancement of the quality of specific space. Texture is one of the five fundamental principle of composition in design which is one the significant parameters of correct and harmonious relationship between users and surrounding environment. This paper is trying to address the relationship between the texture and space understanding in the built space
