In every crevice of her drop-shaped body there is a story of shadow and light. IDA is a lamp shade produced of 100% degradable woodfill made of lactic acid and recycled woodfibre within 24 hours in a 3D printer. Without added parts a sustainable piece of design is created from one thread of material.

One day, one line, one material, and it is assembled in one single move. IDA is so very flexible, she can simply be placed over an LED illuminant (beware: IDA is very sensitive to temperature, use no conventional light bulbs!). She will adjust to every socket all by herself. A date imprint of her individual production day turns each IDA into a unique shining specimen.
