IDA | Axel Hildenbrand
A sustainable design object that easily brightens every day. Darmstadt / Germany / 2017
In every crevice of her drop-shaped body there is a story of shadow and light. IDA is a lamp shade produced of 100% degradable woodfill made of lactic acid and recycled woodfibre within 24 hours in a 3D printer. Without added parts a sustainable piece of design is created from one thread of material.

IDA is so very flexible, she can simply be placed over an LED illuminant (beware: IDA is very sensitive to temperature, use no conventional light bulbs!). She will adjust to every socket all by herself. A date imprint of her individual production day turns each IDA into a unique shining specimen.
