Introverted House | Conarch Architects

Located in Swasthya Vihar, New Delhi, India this home named as Introverted House is spread over an area of 500 sq. yards. The client had purchased two adjacent plots, which were merged into one single family luxury home. The client wanted a contemporary, iconic home with entertainment zones on different levels. As the site was abutted with houses on two sides with narrow street widths. The architects visualized an introverted object drawing light from the numerous punched openings on the facade. The evolution of the design came from a simple geometric composition, which complemented the spatial distinction of layouts. The sequence of spaces ensured that the privacy wasn’t hindered but at the same time maintained a connection, The sophisticated interiors has a unique spatial definition, they are all flowing from a contemporary vocabulary enhanced by attention to detailing. Instead of treating floor, walls and ceiling as individual components, every space has been cohesively designed with each component merging together as distinct spatial experience. Shades of black, white and beige are the prime colours used all across the house. LED lighting on the ceiling bring in adequate light in the major areas of the house.wherever required.
