Children´s room with Rome theme | Barbora Léblová

Children´s room of two girls was designed according to requirements for the storage, space for playing and studying. All furnishing is custom made.

Concerning the limited space the solution led to bunk bed which covers  the shorter wall of the room. The division of the bookcase is closely connected to the bunk bed. On the other side there is a table situated standardly under the window copying its width precisely.

The girls were born in Italy and spent an important part of their lives in Rome. That´s what inspired the decoration.  A renomated young illustrator was entrusted to cover the walls with a stylized map of Rome and other Italian motives. There are family photos of the girls playing in their favourite places paraphrased by the illustrator. With the same leitmotiv she painted the bedding as well.
