Residential project of 2 semidetached houses as part of a new development plan in the city of San Giovanni Lupatoto (VR).

Urban renovation project involving the construction of a new residential complex and the realisation of public standards like a parking and a green area. The project provides for different types of residential units. The complex consists of 2 semidetached houses and an apartment building. Particular attention has been taken to guarantee the private garden to the largest number of units. In the semi-independent villas, the living and the sleeping area are clearly distinguished and separated by the stairwell and the entrance area. The shading of the internal living room is obtained by the inclination of the shape to the South, which confers also dynamism to the whole complex. The shading system on the main facade to the south optimizes the natural sunshine during the winter solstice and, on the contrary, protects the glazed facade during the summer. In fact, the sun is the element from which the building take its shape. Inside the upper level is immediatly perceived from the main entrance through openings in the slab which create full-height spaces.
