RJ Models works with KPF to make stunning model of The Pinnacle | RJ Models

The Pinnacle, located at Bishopsgate, Crosby Square and named one of the top 10 projects under construction by the Times, is without a doubt another landmark of London.
The Pinnacle that rises 228 meters in height is the second tallest building in London tailored by leading architect KPF. This well-designed project highlights the identity of high-rise buildings in Bishopsgate as a whole and emphasizes the position of London as a global financial center. KPF selected RJ Models as the model maker after field visits and comprehensive assessment in the hope of fully revealing their design style.

As a maker having extensive experience in mega projects, RJ Models performed relevant tasks in an organized manner from the very beginning and recruited a team of 25 professionals to carefully craft the model in 50 days for the purposes of presenting KPF’s ideas and conceptions of The Pinnacle and providing a model with its scale, shape, color, texture and planned environment almost the same as the tower itself.
The model uses a scale of 1 to 150, has a size of 1,250mm (L) x 1,050mm (W) x 2,000mm (H), and is made of metal. The greatest challenge facing the team was how to reproduce the concavo-convex texture. All of the glass panes are uneven and need to be done carefully by hand.
