Mimodo was appointed to carry out the full refurbishment, extension and loft conversion of this 1930s property.

The entire property was fully stripped out and new piling had to be introduced to secure the building, as it had been built on made ground.

The ground floor spaces were opened up to create a large family area with a seamless connection to the garden. Large bedrooms and family bathrooms occupied the first and second floors.

A sculptural new staircase was designed to become an important feature at the heart of the house.

The design, layout and selected materials were a response to our client's brief to create a bright home with clean lines where the floors and walls became a blank canvas to accommodate their furniture and artwork throughout the house.
