Timeless Building

A skyscraper twisted for 180 degrees. It creates a silhouette of a sand clock when viewing from the front.
Design ideas: Sand Clock, Spiral Of Time, Spiral Of History, Ephemerality Of Time, Infinity.
Spiral of development where new becomes old and old becomes new. To connect old style architecture like the 1930s US skyscrapers and modern glass and metal design. Top of a sand clock is filled with old style floors constructed from huge stones with massive columns and small windows. These windows look like sand particles inside a sand clock. They flow naturally to the bottom of the top part of a clock and then through the bottleneck to the lower part, forming a visual effect of a sand clock. The sand particles fly, collide and bounce while falling forming a gorgeous maze at the bottom. Therefore mixing old architecture style with new. The particles behavior is based on a physically correct test.
The bottom of a buildng-clock sinks under the waters of a lake, the water surface reflects building above it like a mirror – and so top becomes bottom and bottom becomes top, creating an endless effect of the sand flowing and filling another clock on the other side of a mirror. Bottom and top edges of the building are created with gradient semi-transparent glass, which starts from a mirror glass and ends with a pure clean glass. It looks like the infinite building starts from nowhere and ends nowhere. Therefore enhancing concept of ephemerality, limitless design.
The building looks like it flies above the ground, transparent glass and white columns create this visual effect. Two escalators and one big elevator connect outdoor and indoor, elevator is covered with pure mirror making it disappear and escalators are hidden behind the sand particles maze in front.
The building looks like a sand clock from the front, but still it's a spiral 3D structure. Sand particles were 2D mapped onto a spiral from the front. When the building is rotated (someone walks/flies around it) – the whole sand clock picture starts to stretch, bend, squeeze, refract, twist and distort in very unexpected bizarre ways. What seemed to be a square window becomes a stretched twisted distorted shape.
Old windows are engraved with quotes of the very famous people of the 20th century: Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr, Emmeline Pankhurst and so on. Big part of the list is contributed to the most famous artists of the 20th century: Pablo Picasso, Sonia Delaunay, Claude Monet, Georgia O'keeffe and so on. The quotes were written in straight lines from left to right and top to bottom on the edges of each sand particle, but as the particles flew to the bottom of the sand clock – everything became more and more chaotic, messing different quotes together, especially in the lowest part of the clock where particles are completely disordered, rotated and shaken after they flew, bounced and hit the bottom of the clock. Quotes is like a big puzzle now, completely messed up, different words from different quotes combine into a very random word order and probably creating new interesting quotes in the process. The puzzle is waiting to be solved...
A huge endless pool on the roof with glass walls around. Pool deck is also created from glass making the whole design transparent and very light. A huge vortex in the middle of a pool shows the force, the twisting axis of a spiral building. A mesmerizing spiral stairs come right beneath the vortex and to the pool deck (also one elevator leads to the pool).
A big area of frosted ocean is located right beneath the building, the ocean with huge waves and vortex in the middle shows the direction of a centrifugal twisting force, the time freezes in that point, it's like a spacetime plane from general theory of relativity distorted with gravitational waves.
Two similar areas with frozen ocean squares with waves heading towards the center of the force are located on the most northern and southern parts of the island. There are twelve huge colored glass sculptures standing on the southern square. Glass twists reality even further with its light refraction and color caustics. For example if you look at the building from behind the horizontal glass cylinder – the building becomes mirrored! Like a real sand clock which needs to be rotated over so the bottom part becomes top and top becomes bottom so the sand flows again. And if viewed from behind the glass sphere – the building is mirrored top-to-bottom and left-to-right. Northern frozen square area is used for a helipad.

A coral reef island in the middle of an ocean, with coral reef providing warm and very calm waters. An artificial island in the middle. A clock building twists the earth beneath it creating two long spirals of land.
The Yin And Yang lakes were created spontaneously by these to land spirals interacting with each other. The Yin And Yang was not an initial idea, it has appeared by itself, and it was decided to leave it like this as those eternal elements really add to the whole idea of the time spiral and infinity.
Very clean beaches with snow white sand, thousands of trees and palms to provide shade, the whole island is scattered with gorgeous tall white flowers that looks like snowdrifts.
Island is empty, it's a future proof development with plenty of space for new hotels, buildings, marinas, sea port and other tourists attractions.
The whole island is pollution free. Only electric vehicles are allowed, with a big emphasis on healthy lifestyle: walking, running and cycling are the preferred ways of traveling here.
Wind turbines installed on the outskirts of a coral reef island, gathering huge amount of wind from the ocean. Plenty of space to install new turbines. Plus the whole building glass is covered with transparent solar panels.
