MIRAGE is now on view as part of the inaugural Desert X, a recurring, site-specific contemporary art exhibition for the California.
MIRAGE is ranch-style suburban American house composed of reflective mirrored surfaces set in the desert, acting as a life-size kaleidoscope that absorbs and reflects its surrounding landscape to reveal something new.
Desert X is curated by artistic director Neville Wakefield and is on view starting February 25 through April 30, 2017 at sites across the California desert.
MIRAGE will remain on view through October 31, 2017
