HOTEL FRANCISCO I

The interiors of the chic Francisco I Hotel, in the heart of Madrid, have been fully refurbished, with the renovation of its 79 rooms and inner courtyard. The outcome is a classic hotel, updated to offer the necessary comfort and convenience through cutting-edge materials.

The rooms feature warm laminate flooring by L’Antic Colonial, while slimline XLIGHT porcelain sheets have been used on the hotel’s indoor walls, with the subtle satin textured finish of the CODE collection. Thanks to their low weight and the ease with which they can be cut, savings were made on the time needed to lay the sheets.

In the bathrooms, KRION® Solid Surface by Systempool and Noken bathroom equipment and tap fittings were used.

Mention must be made of the redesigned inner courtyard, where a ventilated façade was used to insulate the building and lend it a more industrial appearance, using long-lasting resistant materials. For this purpose, slimline porcelain sheets from the XLIGHT RUST collection were used to add a metallic touch, combined with building solutions by Butech.

In short, a perfect blend of tradition and avant-garde flair has been achieved, evoking the romanticism of the Spanish Habsburg dynasty while also taking advantage of cutting-edge materials.

En pleno corazón de Madrid, el exclusivo Hotel Francisco I ha sido objeto de una reforma de sus interiores. Así, se han rediseñado las 79 habitaciones y patio interior para dar lugar a un clásico hotel que se actualiza con las comodidades que permiten las últimas novedades.

El interior de las estancias con el cálido suelo laminado de L’Antic Colonial. En los revestimientos interiores, el porcelánico extrafino XLIGHT con la sutil textura satinada la colección CODE que hace posible su colocación reduciendo el tiempo de obra gracias a su ligereza y facilidad de corte para adaptarse a cualquier forma.

En el baño, los materiales elegidos fueron las propuestas con KRION® Solid Surface de Systempool, junto al equipamiento de baño y grifería de Noken.

Destaca la remodelación del patio interior donde se ha llevado a cabo una fachada ventilada con la intención de aislar el edificio y conseguir una estética industrial con materiales inalterables y duraderos. Para ello, se ha utilizado el mismo porcelánico extrafino de la colección XLIGHT RUST que aporta un efecto metálico y las soluciones constructivas de Butech.

Un conjunto en perfecta armonía; tradición del romanticismo de los Austrias y el aspecto más vanguardista con la utilización de los materiales más innovadores.
