Located in one of the most sought-after areas of Mexico City we were given the task of designing a department of 216 m2 just delivered and newly remodeled. The first thing we did was to open large spaces of light and double heights, since the department was very dark, had wasted spaces, corridors and small rooms, leaving many wasted areas; these things are exactly what you should not have a department of this level and cost, so we took on the task of minimizing the circulations and provide the best experience of moving from one space to another.

We start by opening the heart of the department, with the steel stairs, creating a double height windows opening to the hub lighting, we create a lobby with a lattice of solid teak; next to the cube of light, as a wooden block hazelnut brake service areas are housed; by this same hall you can access to a pair full bedrooms with bathroom and dressing room, being the master bedroom with greater importance and size as requested by the client generating a structural modification to the original project.

To maximize space the kitchen was located upstairs and downstairs by way of entrance hall we have the living room, benefiting to give an adequate size greater importance for visits by shifting the kitchen upstairs generate a space that is integrated with the terrace and the dining room is separated by a sliding cancel and connects the two spaces, at the back wall, we place a structure with plants and vines, a kind of green wall, with a fireplace and grill at both sides of the wall,  generating a complete and comfortable social area.
