The festival will be united by one common theme: "Freedom. Imagination. Transformation ", and the place of the festival will provide an opportunity to talk about the architecture of the city, being in the very heart of it. 

«Archi & Kids» will be presented at 4 sites (workshops, games, lectures, classes) on Saturday June 10 and Sunday June 11 from 10:00 - 19:00. Preview of the festival will be held on June 9 (for invited guests only). Expected number of visitors - up to 5 000 people, the estimated number of passive participants (social networks, Youtube, online broadcasting, media) - up to 7 million people. The festival is free from politics and can not support political movements and parties. The festival will be sponsored by private individuals, who are close to the philosophy and idea of «Archi & Kids».

What is unique about the festival 

Such type of the festival will be held in Kiev for the first time. The main mission of the festival - to unite the society, adults and children, around a common theme: "Freedom. Imagination. Transformation". This is the step towards the creation and modification of the space, using advanced technology. Everything that has been constructed, can be changed, and everything that has been done, can be done even better. Architecture is the impulse, the belief in a better future.This force moves the society.Today we are surrounded by the propaganda of pessimism, but particularly in such difficult economic and political times, the architecture can become an engine of great ideas and change. Energy and power inherent in the the language of architecture determines the social and political atmosphere of the space, which is now necessary for every citizen of a country and a city.This festival will create the basis and will be a cornerstone in the construction, not the destruction, in the building, not destroying or indifference. 

Why is it worth taking part in the festival 

We want to gather the best architects who will come to meet people and share their ideas. Architects will inspire all of us with the energy of future, present new projects and philosophy of thinking of people of a new formation. We hope that the festival will not only be a meeting place and a means of communication, but will be a laboratory of ideas, which will demonstrate the diversity of emotions and hopes. 

In such a way architects will prompt us to act and wish to do something in our house, yard, city on our own and with our children. Serious changes are taking place in our country nowadays and it is important to lay the foundation for a new way of thinking with open-minded view of the world.
