MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is a partnership between Cooper University Health Care and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Completed in 2013, the 103,500 SF, four-story (three levels plus one shelled floor) MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper provides convenient patient access to progressive cancer treatment services under one roof. The comprehensive cancer center also accommodates academic and research initiatives that will engage patients as clinical trial participants.

The three major components of the facility—radiation oncology, multidisciplinary care, and infusion (or chemotherapy treatment)—occupy three floors of the facility, with reception on the first floor. Each component is located on a separate floor, allowing for internal growth and flexibility over time. Additionally, the building is planned to allow for a three-story vertical expansion to accommodate future growth. The project is Registered LEED-NC v 3.0, Silver. This addition to the campus allows Cooper to expand its services and provide centralized, technologically advanced care for its cancer patients.
