FARINE | CAFE - BOULANGERIE | Costas Gagos / Architectural Design

This time GAGOS ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN traveled to Volos to design the "Farine Bakery & Boulangerie" in Dimitriados and Koumoundourou corner. A truly impressive bakery with obvious artistic references. The vintage tile, the smooth wood textures, the old-style brick, the metal gabled light-roof across space as well as the see-through production line, all these factors make this bakery unique. The shapes created by the ironwork create depth in the area giving it intensity and dynamics. The traditional wood-fire oven is a key element of the bakery, creating the warmth of older times.
