The project aims to be the bearer of dreams, of "simple" ideas, to be shared and become a reference for the whole territory of Perugia. It brings together the public space, the recreational and living spaces and works on the contrast between the permanence of the basic elements of the project and the flexibility of the space.
The comparison between the size of the lot and the SUL shares to be allotted to each of the requested functions has posed an additional theme: the planning of "the empty spaces" and their relationship to the size of the constructed areas.
Moreover the public space near the “minimetrò” stop is to take a great relevance as well as the morphology of the land.
Following this project line we decided that the public space should have been on two levels:
the first on via Settevalli and via Piccolpasso, giving access to the carriage and pedestrian commercial and directional areas, and to the main services; the second on via Angelo Morettini, up to the access to the “minimetrò”, so as to directly connect the main public access to the site from central Perugia, and residents, employees and users that animate the centre, can reach their homes, their workplaces, the public spaces and the park through an architectural promenade.
