This space was old laboratory located in the heart of Rome where the owner used to stock old books and in years it has become a big canteen full of rubbish.
When I first entered this place I had the feeling it was hiding it's personality. All the precious elements were hidden by walls and false ceiling. It was a real surprise to discover it had an original wooden ceiling and several classical elements not at all shown up.
My main activity has been to empty the entire space and give it a breath so as to create a very contemporary ambiance with a touch of ancient Rome.
