Open for several decades, this is the first time this hotel is undergoing a complete transformation; from his ground-floor to the rooms fully rehabilitated.

The atmosphere of this typical «hotel particulier» in Bordeaux, is at the source of the inspiration of the work of renovation.

Since its construction in the 18th century, this building has seen implement a hotel and several generations of hoteliers. Modernize the hotel while respecting the heritage of the places was the challenge. To do this, owners, Sandrine & Jean)Philippe Burgeat, have brought together around them local firms, architects, craftsmen of the building for making this the new hotel chic and casual from the center of Bordeaux.

An elevator, 12 rooms entirely renovated and the creation of a ground-floor patio are the major elements of this rehabilitation. The renovation work has been consistent and took nearly 10 months.

Sandrine Burgeat, hotel owner, was responsible for the interior design. She tackled the arrangement of four levels. Her long experience in business travels has naturally oriented her decorative choices and has able to combine style and efficiency. Optimized spaces , premium bedding , sweet shades and its designers selection did the rest . Custom steel consoles from La maison Poétique (Bordeaux), Tom Dixon lamps and Gras with good picks in Bloomingville , Nordal , Made.com and House Doctor . An entire wall of the lobby , natural coating from banana plant trunks Green Blade (Fibandco) was as much a technical challenge than a nod to the clever recycling of untapped resources .
