Area-17 supported Peuterey entering the Asian market and oversaw the realization of the brand’s first Chinese boutique in Shanghai. The store is located in the Takashimaya Shopping Mall, a mall managed by Japanese investors, devoted to a niche public in the wide fashion market. Velvety and luxurious fabrics define soft surfaces that pleasantly contrast the neat geometry of display units made of brass and cement. Soft and hard, matte and shiny, raw and refined, each element in the design of the interiors plays its role in the game of opposites, defining a space vibrant with energy. The palette of pale, warm neutral tones makes the brand’s collection stand out as the true protagonist of the space. Area-17 acted as the project manager for Intrapresa S.r.l.
