My inspiration is a kindergarten American School of The Hague by architects from Kraajivanger studio in Rotterdam.


The proposed kindergarten Mravenisko has a capacity of sixty children and it is located in the village of Oravský Podzámok, district of Dolný Kubín.


The building is divided into three areas and the building contains a  basement and up to two additional floors. The first area of the building is an entrance hall. The second part of the building are the kindergarten classrooms while the third part of the building consists of a dining room and a kitchen. 


 The structural part of the building S0.01 is made of reinforced concrete C25/30. The rest of the building structure is made of wooden frames of cross laminated timber (GL) 5s and wooden walls of cross laminated timber (GL) 5s of timber GL24h. The wooden construction is reinforced with wooden walls of cross laminated timber (GL) 5s thickness of 200 mm and 95mm of timber GL24h.


The thesis, consisting of graphical and textual part, includes a technical report, light technical assessment and thermal assessment.
