Old California Memory Showroom Decoration

A visual display project named Old California Memory inspired by West Coast American Vintage for a Los Angeles based retail corporate.  The project aims to create a great visual impact in relation to the corporate image and their customer goods as well as an inspiration for stores’ decoration direction. A range of different display areas such as product development workshop, soft line and hard line display area, and denim table were decorated to meet the direction while the entire lifestyle is all about the old California cowboy period. Product development is the key corner with lots of design sketches, research photos as an inspirational wall with a touch of the classic Edison light bulb on old wood in a yellowish lighting in order to enhance the vintage touch to the washed denim panels. An old California map on the wooden table creates the general mood to the corner. A decorative feature wall collage with different sizes of vintage signage is another spotlight to the room with a range of old photos on the wall recalling a memory of the old California day.This old California Memory is an expansion project from the cultural topic Disappearing Memory Series.
