Gorizia is a city created by history with a really strong tradition. A city where it is really difficult to change something. In the project all the unnecessary is eliminate trying to leave the shapes that could help the guest's eye what is really important. That place wakes up the perspective of women and men who live it. The historic architecture has a great past and the cycle restarts with a new life. The materials are really rude, cheap and simple. The place is divided in three different rooms with three different ceiling. In the central one bornes a space where people could stay toghether. There is just a massive concrete banch in front of the lounge bar which aparently divides the space. The essentialism shows the beautiful arch that introduces the second and more private room. A series of wooden stripes that follows the arch creates a wraparound ceiling. On the back there is a panel which divides the room from a little passage that brings to the toilette. The last room is totally white, dedicated to groups of people, and thought to give a really impressive sensation. The same wooden stripes create a vault that channels lights. The furniture is designed to combine with the architecture. All the project is thought with the aim of creating three innovative black and white spaces that could praise the colours of food and art. The temporary elements move the conception of new, enhancing colours. The "art-food rooms" shows himself as something new but leaving the good memories of the old place.
