The main concept was based on the Cycladic architecture, in terms of architectural forms, materials, orientation etc. Clear rectangular shapes, raw materials, minimal guidelines and colours, emphasis on the perspective of the spaces and natural lighting are the main characteristics of the double-level house by the seaside, in the island of Antiparos. Orientated on the plot according to the path of the sun, the direction of the wind and the view to the sea. The natural lighting, helped us to integrate the exterior with the interior spaces and “play” with shadows creating an essential atmosphere through them. The sun shading devices mainly filter the solar radioation instead of blocking in and the disposition of the walls helps to create external sitting areas, sheltered from the strong wind.

Il concetto principale si rifà all’architettura cicladica, in termini di forme architettoniche, materiali, orientamento. Forme rettangolari chiare, i materiali locali, le linee guida minimali e i colori, l'accento sulla prospettiva degli spazi e l'illuminazione naturale sono le principali caratteristiche di questa abitazione su due livelli in riva al mare, nell'isola di Antiparos. La villa è stata posizionata nel lotto riferendosi al percorso del sole, alla direzione dei venti dominanti e alla vista sul mare. L'illuminazione naturale, ci ha aiutato ad integrare l'esterno con gli spazi interni e "giocare" con le ombre creando un'atmosfera essenziale attraverso gli stessi. I dispositivi di schermatura solare filtrano principalmente la radiazione invece che bloccarla e la disposizione delle pareti contribuisce a creare aree “living” esterne, al riparo dai venti.
