In a 100 hundreds squared metres house a clear cut divides a rectangular in a half.

The bearing wall is thickened, to get the space all around in the social part of the house dynamic and to expand calm and pleasure in the intimate part of the house, here winded up by the water sensuality.

On one side of the wall curves and counter-curves play silently a dance, expressing in lines, in levels and in volumes. On the other, side of the wall a challenge: chasing the light in a game made of transparency and opacity, in a see-through frame, water drops and reflections on the walls, methacrylate and laminate looking for hiding places that reveals.

On one side I dance, on the other I stay… passing through “ovosodo”.

Ovosodo is a metaphore and a presence.

Bulky and invasive because of its shape and plasticity, it is essential, heart of the house and interpreter of itss sociality.

It’s essential because of its function: it is the kitchen.

It’s essential in the day zone, giving special quality to everything thanks to its feminine shape, in welcoming with its sinuous and soft figure.

Different is what happens in the night zone, where the cut line wins, in spaces, even if accompanied by the water sensuality, that are fragmented.

Here privacy is reinterpreted.

On one side the daughters, on the other the parents, to go back always in the centre, where…

Where that “ovosodo” always is.

DESIDERATA: Dare privacy e socialità insieme ad una casa divisa in  due da un muro      

CONCEPT:    Il muro prende corpo, da un lato, nell’unicità della sua longitudinalità, dall’altro in una successione di luoghi   accompagnati dall’acqua.                                                                                             

In una casa di 100 mq un taglio netto divide un rettangolo in due.

E' il muro maestro, che viene ispessito, per rendere dinamico lo spazio antistante, nella zona più sociale della casa, e per espandere calma e piacere nella zona più intima della stessa, avvolta qui dalla sensualità dell'acqua.

Al di quà del muro curve e controcurve giocano silenziosamente una danza, esprimendosi ora in linee, ora in piani e poi in volumi.

Al di là, una sfida. Rincorrere la luce in un gioco fatto di trasparenze ed opacità, in un intrigo di vedo e non vedo, di gocce d'acqua e riflessi su muri, metacrilato e laminati, alla ricerca di nascondigli che rivelino.

Da un lato danzo, dall'altro sto, .... passando per ‘ovosodo’.

Ovosodo è metafora e presenza.

Ingombrante oltre che invadente per forma e plasticità, è essenziale, cuore della casa e interprete della sua socialità.

E’ essenziale per la funzione che svolge perché è cucina.

E’ essenziale nella zona giorno per la qualità spaziale che dona al tutto perché è femminile, nell’accogliere, con le sue forme sinuose e morbide.

Diverso è quanto accade nella zona notte, in cui vince la linea spezzata in luoghi che, sia pur accompagnati dalla sensualità dell’acqua, sono frammentati.

Qui è la privacy ad essere interpretata.

Da un lato i figli dall’altro i grandi, per poi ritornare sempre al centro, dove…

quell' ‘ovosodo’ comunque c'è.
