The old town of Asolo is renewed : find your horizon !
Implement urban quality and livability of the historic center of the residents, ensure greater accessibility for visitors and tourists, achieve greater vitality and attractiveness of the city center of Asolo.
These are some of the objectives of the project "Cento Orizzonti - Hundred Horizons" project, which began a year and a half ago, financed in part by the Region of Veneto, which has started a process of redevelopment and revitalization of the historic center, and that is taking shape in weeks through some important initiatives of the renewal of urban furniture and tools for dissemination and regional marketing and tourism.
With this project, it is intended to realize first of all a decision process, in which the administration of the town wanted to get the participation of the most important actors of the City, working closely with traders, institutions and local authorities, the local tourist board, individual professionals and associates, associations, cultural associations and charities.

And so it is that the town of Asolo will have for example:

a coordinated image, based on a new logo and new graphics that will be the basis of all communication tools;
a new website and social networks renewed and reorganized, which will enable Asolo to offer their City in a more attractive and effective way its tourism offers and services to a national and international scene;
an App, iphone and android, mainly dedicated to the historical center of the town;
a common calendar of the events, which will give an opportunity to new collaborations and an effective plan of comparison, coordination and dissemination of the initiatives of institutions and associations, including a recreational, cultural, commercial and tourist offer, thanks to the connection with major promotion networks .

But not only marketing activities, dissemination and communication are the characteristics of the new face of the old town . There will be also, from the infrastructure point of view:

a total renew of the urban furniture, that has been designed to ensure efficiency, solidity and durability of structures, ensure the homogeneity of the material and a perfect integration in historical context of the new urban facilities;
tourist signs for the communication of the ZTL;
new access system to the parking area Cipressina.

What has not been possible to complete in this project, will be able to be realized in a new construction project, already approved by the Region, which will begin allready next month for a period of two years. The Municipality of Asolo will lead the partnership with the municipalities of Fonte e San Zenone and many source and many social-economic actors of the territory.
