When me and the team arrived at the property in Bankstown, Sydney, what we saw was a floor covered with a nasty rug, for dozens of years as we were told later. When we removed the rug, a very old, stained and faded parquet showed up beneath it.
You can see for yourself on the pictures that this hardwood floor needed a restoration urgently. The laquer finish, which function as a protection of the wood from continual and heavy wear and tear, was completely eroded. If you guys have such a flooring, don't give up on it readily! Replacing it costs a lot, while a professional restoration can recover its original look and gloss for no more than a few hours. By applying the TLC (thin-layer chromatography) method the wood gleams delightfully before our eyes.
