The architecture:
As an invitation to an agreement.
To achieve linking forest and architecture it is necessary to establish a system of agreements that allow the principal elements of the site, establish a door of entry that invites to the insertion of the new habitat without disturbing the life already established in the forest.
I. Agreement with the trees : Capture of the landscape.
II. Agreement with the perceptions and feelings : walking between the trees.
III. Agreement with the history : Approach to the inheritance of Otaniemi’s forest and Alvar Aalto’s legacy.
IV. Agreement with the climate: The hardness of the Nordic climate.
V. Agreement with the animals : The lesson of the animals
