The urban gesture that is characteristic to this project is a response to the curved outline of the surrounding streets, and the bended scheme of the urban hatch. To do this we draw an arc which is tangent to both street arrangements, then we deform it in order to place three accesses (the main entrance, the center access to mental health integral treatment area and the vehicle access). The curve limit of the building is adjusted to its different size areas, separated by patios placed on the curved faÇade. In this manner, the sinuous wrapping tries to grant the building an amicable yet strong character that doesn't ignore the environment nor does it let itself be totally defined by it. The faÇade's movement, the smoothness of the curves and the absence of angles give character to the health center's most visible faÇade. Meanwhile, the consultation areas which require many divisions, are developed in a right angled design.
Another intention within the urban approach was to try to liberate part of the plot of land's space on the corner between both streets, and to achieve, thorugh this free space, that the entrance to the building may take place on a central position, reducing distances and constructed surface figures. This space will be treated as a plaza in such a way that the building's importance is valued and comfort and wide spaces are given to the people moving inside the center.
