Ca' Veneta - Stair regeneration | Riccardo Gecchele

The project reinterprets the vertical connection of an ancient Ca' Veneta, located in the Province of Vicenza. The result is a "suspended" stair, or rather, hunging from the ceiling by means of corten steel blades , which perform the function of railing. The action of getting on and off is marked by travertine treads.

Il progetto reinterpreta la via di collegamento verticale di un'antica Ca' Veneta, sita nella Provincia di Vicenza. Il risultato è una scala "sospesa", o meglio, appesa al soffitto per mezzo di lame in acciaio corten, che svolgono anche la funzione di parapetto. L'azione del salire e scendere è scandita da pedate in travertino.
