Ofrenda de Peregrinación/Offering pilgrimage

During the summer of 2014 an invitation was made to the pilgrims who came to Santiago to participate in this project. He was asked to give his cane to be part of this collective work. More than 1500 canes are placed on a backlit platform, encircled by means of a metal belt in which a text of the Calixtino Codex, of 1150, belonging to the blessing of the canes.

Durante el verano de 2014 se hizo una invitación a los peregrinos que llegaban a Santiago para participar en este proyecto. Se le pedía que cediesen su bastón para formar parte de esta obra colectiva. Mas de 1500 bastones se situan sobre una plataforma retroiluminada, ceñidos por medio de un cinturón metálico en el que se recorta un texto del Códice Calixtino, del año 1150, perteneciente a la bendición de los bastones.
