New Building of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Teaching

The first is the construction of a university building with high quality in terms of achieving the standard of university education. The building, 5 floors + 1 basement, as designed to be made in the back of the old building of Faculty of Natural Sciences and Education at the University 'Luigj Gurakuqi ". The site is located in the western part of the old building and in other side is the 5-storey dormitory of the girls and also the new library for students, between the streets "Jeronim De Rada" and the road "Hysaj." The new building will be built in the territory where was an existing building of one floor with two classrooms and a learning environment. The new building consists of five floors with basement (in full respect of urban conditions). The surface of the site is 1230m2, where construction area is 630m2 with a coefficient of 51%.
The general structure, was designed to have a direct relationship with the old building without causing any problems.
To create a structure that resist over time, it is expected to use contemporary materials in addition to the traditional ones. The coating is thought a combination of metal sheets of aluminum and structural glass, of course also traditional materials. These materials have begun to be familiar in buildings not only in Albania, but also in Shkodra, not only for the high standards in construction but also for its impact in modern architecture.
An important aspect is the presence of shading that plays an essential role in a mediterranean country like Shkodra, where long sunny periods become problematic due to overheating of the premises. This creates problems for both the physiological aspects of students and teachers, but also in economic terms as the additional cost to maintain the appropriate temperature environments. The positioning of the structure, creates the possibility of an inner courtyard, which serves as a buffer against the noise and environmental pollution, each classrooms has been designed to meet two main conditions, firstly that a functional report surface per square meter / student, but also a better orientation of the classrooms in order to avoid noisy teaching facilities, but also the natural lighting.

La prima è la realizzazione di un edificio universitario con qualità elevata in termini di realizzazione degli standard di formazione universitaria. L'oggetto, 5 piani + 1 piano interrato, e pensato per essere realizzato nella parte posteriore del vecchio edificio della Facoltà di Scienze Naturali e della Formazione presso l'Università 'Luigj Gurakuqi. Il sito si trova nella parte occidentale del vecchio edificio e dall'altra parte è il dormitorio di 5 piani, delle ragazze e anche la nuova biblioteca per gli studenti, tra le vie "Jeronim De Rada" e la strada "Hysaj." Il nuovo edificio, sarà costruito nel territorio in cui sorge un edificio esistente di 1 piano con due aule e un ambiente didattico. Il nuovo edificio e formato da 5 piani con seminterrato (nel pieno rispetto delle condizioni urbane). La superfice del sito è 1230m2, dove area di costruzione è 630m2 con un coefficiente del 51%.
La struttura generale, e stata progettata per avere un legame organico con il vecchio edificio senza causare alcuna difficoltà.
Per creare un struttura che resista nel tempo, si pensa di utilizzare materiali contemporanei oltre a quelli tradizionali. Il rivestimento è pensato una combinazione di lamiere di aluminio e vetro strutturale, naturalmente anche materiali tradizionali. Questi materiali hanno iniziato ad avere familiarità nei edifici non solo in Albania, ma anche a Scutari non solo per gli elevati standard nel construzione ma anche per il suo impatto nell architettura moderna.
Un aspetto importante è la presenza di frangisole che svolge un ruolo essenziale per un paese mediterraneo come Scutari, dove lunghi periodi soleggiati diventano problematici a causa del surriscaldamento dei locali. Ciò crea problemi sia per gli aspetti fisiologici dei studenti e docenti, ma anche in termini economici in quanto il costo supplementare per mantenere gli ambienti a temperatura appropriate. Il posizionamento della struttura, crea la possibilità di un cortile interno, che funge da cuscinetto contro l'inquinamento acustico e ambientale, Ogni sala è stata progettata per soddisfare due condizioni principali, da una parte quella funzionale il raportto superficie per metro quadrato / studente, ma anche un migliore orientamento delle aule al fine di evitare strutture didattiche rumorose, ma anche l'illuminazione naturale.
