Liguria. Historic garden in Sanremo | Sandrini Green Architecture

In one of the most prestigious residential streets of the top part of Sanremo, at the beginning of the 20th century some rich English families built sumptuous houses with breathtaking parks. Right in this street, there is the marvelous garden that Sandrini Green Architecture company brought back to the ancient splendors.
The versatile style of the villa, the breathtaking view overlooking the sea and the terraced park represented the starting point for Sandrini for renovating the greenery.
The exotic taste, which was so in vogue at the time of the construction of the house, was recreate thanks to a really accurate and refined botanical choice.
At the feet of the existing monumental Washingtonia and Phoenix that were recovered with great attention, plays of greenery shapes were realized which were made up of Agapanthus, Bergenia, big leaves of Alocasia and specimens of Gardenia.
Big scrubs of “succulent” plants such as Aloe, Opunthia and the monumental American Agaves are the backstage of the magical balustraded panoramic viewpoints.
Great refinement also for the antique vases and objects made of stone that Sandrini, in line with the customer’s taste, selected and added in the garden.
All this allowed, to anyone who enters into this marvelous park, to go back in time and breath a real atmosphere recalling the first years of the 20th century.
