focus was laid on using natural materials and the integration into the lovely old town-center of unkel Unkel / Germany / 2016

mainly using natural materials like clay, organic insulations, regional stone, oiled wood partially cut in the local forest we tried to keep the design clean and easy with a focus on details in stead of great gestures. using wall integrated heating is just one part of keeping the rooms clean but also a great pleasure of getting beaming heat instead of convection as usual which is also a bonus for healthcare issues.
