CITY CAFE

The City Café is open now for customers, on first floor of hideaway corner of most recently constructed Trade Development Bank Building, located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar.

Main building has its own iconic modern design beat, so the approach of café area concept is to incorporate smoothly that expresses warm classic wooden type elements combined with main building’s modern design. 

General function is only to accommodate mainly office facilities and banking services for customers, in this regard, the café location have its own warm access by half transparent glazing directly to main lobby without any obstruction, as not to wholly isolated by glass wall from lobby circulation points. Using wooden elements on wall partition is to soften the atmosphere, considered to create as more natural space, and is client’s one of request to have their own eco products to service this café corner. Service hall with bar deck area as coffee self service area has separated from seating on sofa as resting  with drinks by creating main core fireplace with half height wall space.
