This unique site’s rich history, as an inner city power station, is incorporated through contemporary painted graphics and the fusion of pre-existing structural and architectural elements.
Based on our client brief, the delivered outcome features clever retail planning, as well as the creation of a community focused space for the residents located within the Upper West Side development. All shopfronts were designed and constructed to ensure a strong relationship with Melbourne's laneways and an authentic aesthetic.
The warmth of the merging terracotta brickwork and bright primary colours applied to this retail arcade and public space culminate to form a bright and energetic urban destination.
