The arrangement of the proposed buildings created three courtyard spaces. The south and west courtyards are located at lower ground floor level whilst the north courtyard is at ground floor.

The two lower ground floor courtyards were designed as breakout spaces for the students to inhabit and relax.

The upper space functions as the main entrance to this development. It also accommodates two disabled parking spaces.

The planting was specified to provide all year round interest, whist being suitable to the challenging courtyard spaces.
