The main characteristic of this ex industrial complex is clearly its size, its volume. The first step was to find a way to make its magnitude enjoyable and cosy. Blue paint was the solution: the colour would perfectly work on transforming such a big volume into the happy, witty house the clients wished for. The durmast parquet chosen for the floors also work in this attempt to turning the industrial spaces into a home.
Enhancing this playful atmosphere is the main element characterising the big entrance/living space: the staircase. Not only a connection between two levels, not only a smart way to hide service spaces under, but mostly a decorative objective, a scenography that can be used as a place to be lived (sit, lay, rest, dance …) during parties.
