Anomaly | Ink Inch

Why the flower is always most important that the stem? Anomalie rises from this point. It’s a mini collection of vases where stem and flower try to be both protagonists.
The vases have a classical and traditional shapes, but with an anomaly.
Their geometry has a missing piece, or an additional part, which reveals the stem.
It’s like a synecdoche or a metonymy: the stem’s shape is added or subtracted from the whole vase, to acquire its own autonomy.
It's a role play where there isn’t a single protagonist.
Anomaly is an open source project, you can download the open design and work with a local maker or if you are into digital fabrication, make it yourself.
The vase are designed to be made in 3d printing and the design are all free support. You can download Anomaly on: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/anomaly1-13969 https://www.myminifactory.com/object/anomaly2-13970 https://www.myminifactory.com/object/anomaly3-13973
