ENGLISH:


The connective tunnel was designed following a competition of student's ideas for the implementation of measures in the various districts of the province of Salento, in order to sensitize young people and making them active participants in the event of the proclamation of the European Capital of Culture. The following project is an exhibition tunnel which fits within S.Oronzo, replicable element with the purpose of being used as a connection element between the various areas of the City, creating an artistic path which can vary depending on the will of the exhibitors: historical, artistic, exhibition of paintings, sculptures, archaeological finds, tourist information, dining and refreshment stations etc ... the structure is visually light, unobtrusive so as not to detract from the beauty of the site, a set of lines read, different materials and different thicknesses. The materials used are: steel for the frame, small blocks of polished local stone plinths and as a partial coating wattle. Inside there will also be of Lecce's stone seats or ground and polished carparo.

Il connective tunnel è stato ideato in seguito ad un concorso di idee studenesco per la realizzazione di interventi nei vari quartieri della provincia salentina, al fine di sensibilizzare i giovani rendendoli attivi e partecipi all'evento della proclamazione della Capitale europea della cultura. Il seguente progetto è un tunnel espositivo che trova collocazione all'interno di Piazza S.Oronzo, elemento replicabile con lo scopo di essere utilizzato come elemento di connessione tra le varie aree della Città, ideando un percorso artistico che può variare a seconda della volontà degli espositori: percorso storico, artistico, esposizione di quadri, sculture, reperti archeologici, informazioni turistiche, punti ristoro e rinfresco ecc... La struttura è visivamente leggera , poco invasiva in modo da non togliere nulla alla bellezza del sito, un insieme di linee leggere, polimateriche e dai diversi spessori. I materiali utilizzati sono: Acciaio per l'intelaiatura, piccoli blocchi di pietra leccese levigati come plinti e un rivestimento parziale in canniccio. All'interno sono previste anche delle sedute in pietra leccese o carparo levigate e lucidate.
