A central, solid, closed volume, clad in stone is the element that articulates the entire building, from this volume bands are projected onto the east façade while on the west façade planes that break the verticality and generate shadows, creating gaps that hold house terraces and transitional spaces on the ground floor. The bands on the east façade generate large terraces that communicate social and private areas in the housing units, and the planes on the west façade shelter and hide activities that occur in the units and become a composition of shadows and light in the afternoon.

The intention of horizontality of the building is achieved with the bands of the terraces and reinforced with the roof that runs over the volume from the north to the south façade. The contrast of light and shadow is more evident thanks to the selection of materials such as marble, exposed concrete and white textured paint.
