Bernie's Deli | ADS (Architectural Design Studio)

S.F. Business Group, LLC, approached ADS to recreate an “Old World” style Italian deli atmosphere by converting an existing 24 hour convenience store. Located near George Mason University, the S.F. Business Group Saw the potential business of such a conversion and ADS saw the opportunity to provide design features unique to a geographic area where modern new age shops dominate in an up and coming community. ADS and “Bernie’s” will provide customers a break from the new and into the traditional Italian shoppe. The serving line was designed to allow customers the pleasure of seeing their food prepared as well as to allow employees the work in an assembly-line fashion just as it was done in the old days. The project required redesign of the cooking, market, eat-in areas, as well as exterior design features.
