Dr. Farivar`s Dentistry Clinic

There is a great number of buildings in Tehran which are built based on residential function and will gain official or business usage for more benefit after being registered in municipality. The project was located on the third floor of one of these buildings where one dentist intended to run his clinic. Actually, his purpose was making the most number of dentistry units with allocated cost providing that the result would be more highlighted than its expenditure.

The structure of current status was considered in this project to reduce the cost as well as minimizing the destruction and current elements would be based on the new formation of components. We really aimed to display the role of walls in space division role beside the operation definition and influence on the addressee`s feeling. This strategy has affected location surfaces, volumes, shape, material of each of them . Whatever happens here makes the visitors relaxed and the atmosphere dominant on therapeutic space with the existence of smiling background in the whole space.

More expensive materials were used in public space and among main units of clinic to be seen from both sides and influenced in other spaces. Natural light penetrated into the space of clinic as an important element in therapeutic space to make it more lively.

An exclusive corridor provides the accessibility of dentists and their assistants to therapeutic space without disturbance for the waiting room. At the end in the corridor of the clinic with its images will impress the addressee `s mind eternally.

For all the elements which have the role of space division, some functions such as special dentistry cabinets /files , sink and a seat for patients to be used for both sides and compensate the shortage of clinic space.

The partition space specifies the therapeutic space , waiting room , corridor , secretary area, installation channel tunnel , secretary table and decorative plants. In this project, the current installation systems appropriate with new function have been changed and split duct system supplies the cooling and warming system of the clinic. This complex has been covered by a layer along with radiology room and pantry service which has created the waiting room. Units with their space limit use a distinct installation complex which is located on terrace by ground ducts.

The running of this project commenced in February 2011 and ended in April 2012
