TRANS GLASS | Kairi Eguchi
Tablewares that form beautiful gradation were created by changing the wine glass’ form with mathematical calculation. Osaka / Japan / 2015
A wine glass is composed of three elements: the cup, the stem, and the foot. By making mathematical alterations while respecting each role, as they are, a new series of glassware, the most simple and beautiful, has been created.
We express the beauty as if it is sinking into water, by increasing the size little by little doubling the diameter of the cup, and decreasing the height in certain amounts at the same time.
