The house is located in an area of recent housing development, consisting of small traditional houses without any identifying marks. The owners’ will was to stand out from the context and to meet their needs by using more contemporary forms and a classical distribution program (living are on the ground floor, sleeping area with 3 bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor). Through a series of matter subtractions and sliding volumes the traditional formal system broke up, creating a continuous variation between full and empty spaces, which create a dynamic image and an alternative to the neighboring residential context. The white plaster emphasizes the constantly changing facade, a balanced set of variations.
