The renovation of the apartment for two accomplished academics creates a clearly delineated white space lined with books on two sides. The space is further unified with a sinuous ceiling that mitigates the discrepancies found in the relationship between the drop beams, air conditioning ducting and high windows. The red wall presents a grounding element with artwork displays and a playful framing of the services door.
