Conversion of a former industrial unit inside a 1970´s building. Even not an old building, we wanted to treat the refurbishment as a restauration project. The concrete structure has been made visible again, and the original terrazzo tiles were restored. A new platform was insterted to match the terrace level. Furthermore a new facade to create cinematic views onto Poble Nou and the sea.
The basic functions like bathroom, kitchen, living, and sleeping are arranged next to this facade, creating a more cosy feeling inside this vast open space.
The rest of the space is in constant change, and give the loft a playful character. Installations are partly exposed, and sockets along the ceiling allow quick changes of lights in the ceiling.
