Lobby Atrium | Echo Design + Architecture

The project is located in the heart of downtown Wall Street. It is a 32,000 square foot, two-story atrium lobby housing office incubator start up suites, located in a 21 story landmark building. The intent, was to connect shared facilities over two floors. The large glowing volume housed a series of conferences that provided that connection with the atrium space. This volume was  designed with the use of frosted filmed tilted panelled glass, exposed bolts. The stair was designed with the intent to extend the transparency with the used of clear ripped glass and torqued exposed steel stair.
