PRIMARY SCHOOL IN FANO | Alessandro Calvi Rollino Achitetto

This project is about the realization of a Primary School belonging to a wider School complex in Fano. The punctual analysis of the context where Nature ranges from the northern hills to the southern agricultural landscape of the Metauro valley led to an almost horizontal development of the building, so that the characteristic profile of the hills stands out. The overall spaces of the School have the typical colors and textures of that place: plaster and bricks with neutrals and muted hues -related to soil and stone- have also a strong response to touch. Each classroom has an own peculiar color for doors and windows so that the children can easily recognize the classroom they belong to. Spaces are colorful, light, easy to grasp and never dull; waiting areas, sitting places, upwards and downwards ramps, balconies, walls and backsides where children can hide or spaces where they can withdraw: different bodily reactions to the spaces help children to fully develop their physical and psychological capabilities.

SCUOLA PRIMARIA A FANO

Si tratta di un progetto per la realizzazione di una Scuola Primaria all’ interno di un complesso scolastico nel Comune di Fano. L’ attenta analisi del contesto, con il suo caratteristico panorama naturale compreso tra le colline a nord e i campi agricoli della valle del Metauro a sud, hanno suggerito uno sviluppo orizzontale dello spazio costruito, in modo da far prevalere il caratteristico profilo del paesaggio collinare. Gli spazi della Scuola Primaria, presentano le tonalità e le textures tipiche del luogo: intonaci e mattoni nelle tonalità di terra. I materiali e i colori sono utilizzati in maniera pedagogica, per facilitare l’apprendimento dei bambini, caratterizzando ciascun ambito in modo differente. Gli spazi sono semplici, colorati, immediatamente decifrabili, mai banali e piatti: aree di sosta, in cui sedersi, rampe a scendere, a salire, affacci, quinte colorate, muri dietro cui nascondersi, ampi spazi in cui appartarsi.
