The Golden Cobra | Siller Treppen

This staircase is something special. It is going around an elevator, also designed by Siller and almost impossible to describe, to give you an accurate impression of its size, virtue and feeling. The core of each stair is made of steel to make them totally rigid. The main material is wood, which is covered by a thick sheet of beaten gold. The finish is a thin acrylic layer to protect the gold from getting damaged. A glass railing with wooden topping will take you by the hand and lead you to the next level. The elevator's facing is made of corian, engraved with randomly crossing lines of beaten gold. One has to experience this design on their own to conceive its majestic size.
