BoKompakt
Check it out! It becomes very small.

BoKompakt is a development where AFB and architect Pontus Åqvist in dialogue with the students have developed a new type of student housing. Pontus Åqvist is principal architect.

The trend among swedish students is to live in a private appartment where you can party, socializing and make your meals by your self or with invited friends. In the dialogue with the students, the central issue has been the accommodation of different activities. The goal is to design a stimulating living environment from morning coffee and studying, to dinner party and evening movies. Houses offer students residence qualities and small-scale density rather than large-scale dormitory style blocks.
The average living area in this project is ten square meters/student.
