A spectacular site

 Our goal was to explore, develop and produce design of warm and timeless Modernist house on a spectacular site.

The main idea was focused on two points: a clear architectural response to the site and the client’s brief, and simplicity in form.

This bright vision fulfills client's needs by creating environments that are uniquely planned: sensitive to site and budget, mindful of climate, and inventive in use of materials.

 We draw inspiration from the climate, innovation and diversity of the site location and our design process takes into account the seasons and the changes of light during the passage of the day. Light (natural or artificial) plays a leading role in the project, while at the same time it constitutes the fundamental ingredient of the spatial experience. The interplay between measures of volume, materials and textures is a prerequisite for an interesting design.

The built form is simple and functional, with different functional elements expressed and accentuated. Detailing is kept simple and minimalist. Ornamentation has no place in the design process. Instead, materials are used in different ways to provide texture and atmosphere. This spacious family home was designed in such a way that even when there are only two people occupying it, all the conveniences are within perfect reach.

The entire design and building process is as much about providing an exciting and pleasing spatial experience.

The landscape enhance the space, both aesthetically and environmentally, keeping a simple palette of local plants and trees, bringing the landscape and the interior in a perfect match- a place of joy.
